A more responsible print job starts with what you need to produce and how it will be used. Ask specific questions rather than relying on an eco label.
Reduce avoidable production
Choose a quantity that fits actual distribution and the time before the information changes. Design evergreen sections separately from changing details where practical. Check every proof carefully to avoid reprints.
Compare material options
Ask about recycled content, fibre sourcing, weight and suitable production methods. Review whether coatings, laminates, foil, adhesives or mixed materials affect the item’s intended use and disposal. The right option depends on the job.
Verify the end-of-life route
Check what the local collection programme accepts; appearance alone does not establish recyclability. Ask about release liners and other production leftovers. Keep evidence for any environmental statement you make to customers.
Your next move
Bring expected usage and disposal questions into the quote request. ITG can help compare suitable choices without claiming that any one material is impact-free.
